Installation and Startup

VR device not detected?

Make sure SteamVR is running and your VR device is properly connected. If the problem persists:

  1. Restart SteamVR
  2. Check if VR device drivers are correctly installed
  3. Try unplugging and reconnecting VR device cables

Software won't start?

  1. Make sure SteamVR is installed
  2. Check if system requirements are met
  3. Try verifying game file integrity (Right-click software in Steam -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Files)

OCR Recognition Issues

OCR recognition failed?

  1. Check if there is text in the screen
  2. Ensure text is clearly visible, avoid obstruction or blurring
  3. Check if screenshot area settings are correct

Recognition results inaccurate?

  1. Adjust OCR recognition language settings
  2. Enable image preprocessing options (denoise, sharpen)
  3. Ensure screenshot area is clearly visible

Translation Issues

Translation service error?

  1. Check if network connection is normal
  2. Check if Steam client is the latest version
  3. Check if Steam account is logged in normally
  4. Check if translation service is available
  5. Try switching to another translation service

Translation results not ideal?

  1. Try switching translation engine
  2. Try using LLM translation engine
  3. Adjust translation prompts (if using custom LLM)
  4. Ensure source language is set correctly

Display Issues

Overlay not showing?

  1. Check OpenVR permissions
  2. Confirm translation mode is enabled
  3. Check overlay position settings
  4. Try restarting the software

Overlay position incorrect?

  1. Reset overlay position in Dashboard
  2. Switch display mode (world space fixed / follow view)
  3. Reset overlay settings to default values

Performance Issues

Software running slowly?

  1. Reduce SteamVR rendering resolution
  2. Disable unnecessary image preprocessing options
  3. Check GPU usage
  4. Ensure system meets recommended requirements

High memory usage?

  1. Software automatically releases VRAM after 60 seconds of no OCR activity
  2. Restart software to immediately release resources
  3. Check for other high memory usage programs

The software interface supports 27 languages, and translation supports mutual translation between 29 languages.
