Advanced Settings

On this page, control the software's computing power scheduling, system startup items, and debug mode. If you have a certain understanding of device resource management, you can perform special optimization here.

Performance Optimization

CPU Acceleration

When enabled, the software will fully utilize the CPU's multi-threading and advanced instruction sets to accelerate OCR processing.

  • Effect: Reduces recognition time and improves text block detection efficiency in complex interfaces.
  • Suggestion: Enabled by default, generally keep this state. Only consider turning it off when your game has strict restrictions on CPU resources.

GPU Acceleration

When enabled, uses the local discrete graphics card to accelerate OCR image pre-processing, reducing CPU burden.

  • Effect: Computers with mainstream discrete graphics cards can significantly improve processing speed through DirectML or CUDA.
  • Suggestion: This item is off by default. If you have a recent mainstream discrete graphics card, you can try enabling it for a smoother experience; if using integrated graphics or an old discrete graphics card, enabling it may cause software instability and is not recommended.

System Settings

Debug Mode

Developer log output mode.

  • Effect: After enabling and restarting, the software will simultaneously open a console window, displaying underlying operation logs (screenshot status, call time, coordinate data, etc.) and error information in real time.
  • Suggestion: Only temporarily enable when there are functional abnormalities or need to feedback issues to developers, please keep it off for daily use. When running in the enabled state for a long time, a large amount of log output may affect performance and occupy memory.

SteamVR Auto-Start

Configure whether the software automatically starts with SteamVR.

  • Effect: After enabling, this software will automatically start and be ready every time SteamVR is launched, without the need for manual startup. You can switch with one click here, saving the trouble of manually modifying SteamVR startup items.

Remove Startup Item

This is a one-time operation button.

  • Effect: After clicking, the software will send a deregistration instruction to SteamVR, completely clearing the current startup item registration information. Suitable for cleaning up startup items left by old versions, or solving the problem of "SteamVR automatically pops up this software every time it starts". After clearing, you can re-enable "SteamVR Auto-Start" here to re-register.

Open SteamVR Binding UI

Evoke SteamVR's controller button binding interface.

  • Effect: After clicking, if currently in VR, it will open the binding settings page in the SteamVR panel; if on the desktop, it will open the binding page of the SteamVR desktop window. Convenient for you to re-map button functions for special devices or special needs.
