Overlay Settings
Comprehensive customization of the visual presentation of translation result overlays (including their fonts, backgrounds, width, height, and depth), status indicators, and color screenshot capture frames displayed within the VR environment.
Translation Echo Color Configuration
Translation Text and Background Adjustment
Through these color controllers, the translation panel can more comfortably integrate into various distinctive game environments.
- Overlay Text Color: Select RGB font color for the translated content. If you are used to playing games late at night, this helps reduce eye fatigue.
- Background Color: Adjust the background color under the text, default is black or slightly transparent dark gray.
- Background Transparency: If you are worried about blocking key game elements directly in front, you can pull this slider from
1.0(completely opaque) to0.0(completely transparent). This setting is recommended to be used in conjunction with text color enhancement to ensure translation readability.
Floating Status Indicator
- Status Indicator Text Color: Controls the color of prompt text used to display "recognizing" or countdown, etc., supports RGBA four-channel adjustment (including transparency).
- Status Bar Font Size: Slider sets font size in points, supports zooming from
10.0to40.0. (Default around20.0) - Horizontal Position and Vertical Position: Adjust the forward horizontal and vertical offset of the status bar (
-1to1). Ensure the text can prompt the situation without being in the key aiming/driving view. - Display Distance: Controls the actual three-dimensional depth远近 of the prompt text patch (
0.2to5.0). (Default1.44) - Status Display Width: Changes the limit span scale of this tiny line of status information in the projected space. (Fine-tune between
0.1and1.0)
Translation Panel Width
- World Width Limit: The maximum width of the translation panel in space, to prevent a line of translation from being too long causing the player's field of view to move back and forth. Adjust within the range of
0.5to3.0through the slider.
Screenshot Frame Visual Customization
Provides辨识度 and selection area settings when the controller selection frame appears. You can also set the default projection area without relying on the controller's physical press to adjust the border.
Screenshot Frame Color
- Use Custom Screenshot Frame Color: Check this option to no longer use the system's default green frame line.
- Frame Rendering Color: After enabling, select your favorite screenshot frame color through this color palette (RGB mode).
Default Frame Position and Size
Even without adjusting through controller grip, you can directly set the default screenshot frame position and size through numbers here.
- Frame Width and Frame Height Ratio: Manually specify the proportion of the width and height of the capture frame each accounting for the full field of view. Cover the main dialogue area through slider combination.
- Frame Horizontal/Vertical Positioning Point: Fine-tune the value of this frame located in the upper right and lower areas of the center of the field of view (
35%to65%). - Frame Depth Distance: Set the absolute three-dimensional depth pushed forward in screen space. (
0.2to5.0, default2.0)
Frame Adjustment Operation Logic Parameters
For controllers that support physical grip force sensors (such as Valve Index), provides operation threshold settings to prevent accidental touches.
- Controller Adjust Screenshot Frame Feature Switch: Whether to allow adjusting the screenshot frame size by holding the grip button and moving the controller in the game. After enabling, the threshold settings below will take effect.
- Grip Press Threshold: The minimum pressing force required to trigger grip adjustment (
0.0to1.0, default0.5). Appropriately increasing this value can prevent accidentally triggering screenshot frame adjustment when lightly touching the grip button. (Only effective for controllers that support physical grip force output)
Position Locking Logic
Controls the display method of translation result patches:
- World Space Fixed: The translation patch is anchored to a specific position in the VR scene, and rotating the head will not follow the movement, with a real three-dimensional sense of space. (Default option)
- Field of View Tracking Fixed: The translation patch always follows your line of sight direction, displayed at a fixed position directly in front of the field of view, suitable for scenes where you need to view translations at any time.
